Laser therapy

Laser therapy, often referred to colloquially as laser treatment, describes a complex, advanced procedure for treating a wide variety of clinical pictures. It is based on sophisticated, state-of-the-art technical equipment and modern technologies. It utilises the physical effects of laser light, in particular coherence, heat generation and polarisation of light.

For which symptoms has laser therapy proven effective?

  • Pain relief
  • For acute pain in all areas of the spine
  • Ischialgia, dorsalgia, lumbalgia, CVS, PHS, spondylitis, etc.
  • Injuries to the musculoskeletal system
  • Sudeck’s disease
  • Joint wear: gonarthrosis, coxarthrosis, omarthrosis, etc.
  • Myogelosis
  • Dermatological diseases
  • Rheumatological pain
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Nerve injuries
  • Gout
  • Joint injuries: dislocations, sprains, etc.
  • Herpes zoster

Laser treatment is used to support the healing process and alleviate symptoms. This involves the use of a laser scalpel, laser-assisted acupuncture and surgical laser technology.

POLARIS – laser technology of the future

The POLARIS laser (Petawatt Optical Laser Amplifier for Radiation Intensive ExperimentS) used in our practice is considered the world’s only fully diode-pumped laser system that can achieve the best results. The pulses are produced in an oscillator, amplified more than tenfold and finally compressed again in time – a high-tech performance that guarantees the best results.
